Hi,folks! I wanted to say great web site and this is what it takes to get informed. One baby step at a time. Before you know it you'll be walking then running even to go as far (excuse the pun) as "running a marathon!"
Sometimes it takes one,or two in this instance, to galvanize one's frustrations and even hopelessness to stir a movement,if you will. I have to "thank" Obama for waking up the silent majority in this country because in my lifetime,I have not seen so much political unrest and Tea Party Movements. I want to do whatever small part I can to get this state AND country back in the right direction. It just takes those souls to turn off their televisions and get active because before we know it,there won't be anyone there to protect "us" when "they" come for you.
Gov Markell had some nerve by saying he was against fracking and in studies I read,it is actually environmentally sound. Markell is accountable to us and he and other politicians seem to forget that. These people will be held accountable to US,the electorate, and we will no go silently into the night!

Bill, thank you for visiting wakeupde.com and for your wonderful comments. Unfortunately, because of the horrific crimes and murder of my grandparents, we have had to experience things with the State that one should never have to. I must say, under Governor Markell's administration I have witnessed a brazenness and a disregard to constituents as never before. From being in legislative hall, I have seen this same brazenness in all aspects of his governing. It is only by the people standing together, uniting and making their voices heard that we can bring change to our State and our Country. I believe in Delawareans and the American people and I trust they rise to the call upon all our lives living in this crucial time for our State and Nation. With thanks . . . Kimberly
Just taking a quick coffee break and wanted to post a hello

Hello to all again! It's been a while since my last post but I guess it's better than no post!
I have to address the recent murders of Ambassador Stephens and 3 other of our countrymen in Libya. I am astounded at the lack of security around the ambassador and his subsequent murder is inexcusable. The limp response from President Obama is even more appalling since all his words were just that,LIMP! What will happen next? A strongly worded letter to the United Nations? I guess the Mohammadens will laugh at that just like they have been doing since Chairman O has been in office. What do we do now? We look to the "president" for leadership and what I see in the White House is NOT that. I feel, and perhaps others, like we as citizens, are alone in our quest for security even in our own country. I say that with great regret because our "leaders" have lead us down the road to destruction. We must remove the current president from office on Nov 3. It's up to us,the people,to do just that....
