                          How To Make a Difference

"It does not take a majority to prevail . . . but rather an irate, tireless minority,
keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
                                                                                        Samuel Adams

Now that you have read all of this information, are you ready to make a difference, are you ready to stand up and make your voices heard, are you ready but do not know where to begin?
1.  Start with your voice; share what you have learned with your family, friends, co-workers, anyone you can.
2. Make phone calls, send letters and send emails to your State legislators.  Because we the people have been quiet so long, it actually does not take that many phone calls for legislators to take notice that there is an issue, if, we make our voices heard!
3.  Research candidates running in your district, ask them questions and vote for those who represent your beliefs.
4.  Support candidates that you believe in, even if it is as little as five dollars, give as you can
afford.  If everyone gave five dollars to the candidate they support, that makes a huge difference for the
candidate to get their message out to a broader base of voters.
5.  Give your time to a candidate, you can volunteer for their campaign and help inform others of why your candidate is the right person for the position.
6.  Attend local political meetings, such as the  9-12 Patriot meetings, there is a lot of information you can find out at these meetings that are specific to the area where you live and this is a great place to find additional ways to make a difference.
7.  Write a letter to the editior of your local newspapers.
8.  Contact your local talk radio station about issues in your area.  This is a great forum to inform people in your community.  Once you start using your voice and your talents you will be amazed at the opportunities that will present themselves to you and the sense of achievement you experience when you begin to make a difference.
9.  Attend legislative hall and committee hearings in Dover.  When you become informed and are
passionate about an issue sign up to speak before the legislative body or committee.  We are paying the price
because we have been silent so long.

" The ultimate authority...resides in the people alone."
                                                                                   James  Madison
